This event hosted by KFF was a fun service project where many different Boy Scout troops came together to make booths for the entertainment of younger children while raising money. Our scouts made one of these booths and helped clean up the event, racking up many service hours.
This was our zipline activity-based campout. For a lot of scouts, this was their first time doing ziplining. Excited to be able to fly among the redwood trees and speed through the air, the sights and the thrill were amazing. Later, to pass the time, we did activities such as frisbee, tag, and an Emergency Preparedness car crash simulation! Everyone had the time of their lives.
Scout-O-Rama was a day event from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm where troops all across the Bay Area gathered to share their scouting spirit. Each troop would set up a booth that ran fun activities; scouts arrived at 8:00 am to set up the booth. Our troop hosted a booth running the game “Kim’s Game" and the scouts represented our troop wonderfully.
The Mother’s Day Celebration is typically an outdoor picnic day event to respect and honor the importance and contribution of mothers to their families. The scouts took photos with their mothers and presented them each a rose of love and appreciation.
This is the first kayaking campout since the pandemic. Scouts enjoyed kayaking together with a lot of wild animals around us. It was an out-and-back adventure, everyone kayaked about 5 miles, good job!
For 2022 Q2, seven scouts advanced to the next level. Five scouts got the Den Chief Service Award.
One patrol won the National Honor Patrol Award. Six ASMs swore in. Good job Scouts and Parents!
