In ILST, scouts went in a cycle, learning important skills about scouting. Later, they were tested and many of them earned the "Trained" patch. The troop also had a ceremony, congratulating active scouts as well as watching a year in recap video.
The Chinese New Year Celebration is an annual event where our troops celebrate the Chinese New Year. Patrols performed skits and some Scouts also signed up to perform individually. There were many other activites and a huge potluck that everyone enjoyed.
Bearpaw is an annual campout featuring snow-based activities and cold-weather camping. Scouts had opportunities to build their own snow forts and have fun in the snow. There were many fun activities and definetly a one of a kind experience for all scouts.
Dragons Patrol - Dragons patrol went to a campsite, had a few hikes and went fishing, as well as help clean up trash.
Falcons Patrol - Falcons patrol went to a beach where they enjoyed the scenery and explored a beach like terrain.
Ravens Patrol - Ravens went biking among the mountains, as well as enjoying scenery views.
Wolverines Patrol - Wolverines went rock climbing, which was really fun and going on hikes afterwards. They also practiced scouting skills, like axe chopping.
Phoenix Patrol - Phoenixes went to a lake and enjoyed a view, as well as practicing cooking skills (since they are a new patrol).
In the March COH, many scouts advanced ranks and gained leadership skills, as well as being rewarded with a potluck afterwards.
